OJSC ENERGOPROM-Novocherkassk electrode plant is included in CJSC Energoprom Management and is the largest company on Europe for graphitized electrodes of heavy section. The company is producing high-quality electrodes used at steel production in arc steel making electric furnace, ferrous alloys of silicon, nickel and titanium in ore thermal furnace. Main clients of OJSC ENERGOPROM-NEP are the largest metallurgy complexes of Russia, Poland, Germany, Brazil, Finland, Mexico, USA.
OJSC Tagmet is Russia’s largest manufacturer of seamless welded steel pipes. The pipes of new generation, produced by the company are used at developing complex offshore mining of hydrocarbons at Caspian, Azov, Black seas and arctic fields of Kola Peninsula and Barents Sea.
In 2010 Evraz holding (Moscow) has started construction of new rolled steel production facility for fittings and structural steel with capacity of 450 thousand tons of bar steel rolled stock per year, including 315 thousand tons of fittings and 135 thousand tons of structural angles and channels. Implementation of the project will create 300 new jobs.
In 2008 LLC Rostov Electrometallurgy Plant was put into operation with capacity for f electric furnace steelmaking of 730 thousand tons of continuous steel casting per year and 530 thousand tons of rolled steel per year. LLC REMP is a plant of new type, which manufactures high-quality products. The plant is unique for metallurgy sector in terms of automatization of technological operations. It also shows the highest operational efficiency in the industrial complex of the region.
