Vasily U. GOLUBEV
Born on January 30, 1957 in Ermakovskaya village Tatsinskiy district of Rostov region.
In 1980 graduated in engineering and economy from Moscow university of management named after Sergo Ordzhonikidze. By assignment was sent to Vidnoe city in Moscow region. Began his career in Vidnoe truck company, later was promoted to leadership position in the Communist party.
In 1991 was appointed and in 1996 reelected the Head of the Lenin district of Moscow region.
Since April 1999 was the Vice-Governor of Moscow region, from March 2000 – First Deputy Chairman of the Moscow Region Government.
Was in charge of the research and production complex, agriculture, foodstuff, housing and utility infrastructure, fuel, energy and construction complex of Moscow region.

On May 21, 2010 by the recommendation of the President of Russia was empowered to be the Governor of Rostov region.
Graduated from Russian Academy of Civil Services under the President of Russia. Has the decrees of Master of Laws, Doctor of Economy.
Married, has 2 children.
State prizes: Order of Honor, Order of Friendship, Order of Merit for the Motherland of the IV Decree, etc.
